Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe, spiritual leader of Cong. Agudas Achim, is a noted scholar
and featured
speaker on both sides of the Atlantic.
He currently serves as a legal consultant and lecturer for the New York Legal Assistance Group.
Attorney Gary D. Weinberger serves as Assistant Federal Public Defender in Hartford
for over
20 years. In the course of his work he has represented numerous individuals charged with possession
of firearms.
Attorney James I. Glasser,Chief of the Criminal Division for the U.S. Attorney’s
Office, was
appointed counsel to the United States Attorney. He has worked in the Organized Crime Drug
Enforcement Task Force and coordinated Connecticut’s Anti-Terrorism Task Force.
Chief James J. Strillaci has been a West Hartford police officer for over 30 years. He came
up
through the ranks to become the Chief of Police in January 1992.
