Honoring
Coleman B. Levy

A founding partner of Levy & Droney, Coleman has played a major role in many of the region's most significant businesses and civics. At an early age, he earned Eagle Scout - Boy Scouts of America's highest honor, showing leadership even then.

Coleman's impact extends well beyond the legal profession. He was instrumental in acquiring the New Britain Rock Cats. He served as Chairman of the UConn Foundation and earned the Hartford Business Journal Lifetime Achievement Award. He has served on numerous boards: JFGH, Mandell JCC, JFS, Beth El Synagogue and the New Britain Museum of American Art.

In memory of his beloved son, Perry, the family established the Perry S. Levy endowment fund at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, to advance lifesaving cancer research.

Coleman was the very first Chairman of Chabad of Greater Hartford. He helped provide the leadership and commitment that would allow Chabad to flourish into what it is today.

Coleman is the first to credit his wife, Judie, as his steadfast partner in all his success, and he treasures above all else, his family, and lifelong friends. He believes a life is not measured by recognition, but by those lives who have been enriched through honesty, mentorship, friendship, and unwavering integrity.
