The Jewish Learning Academy (JLA) presents
"Prayer - Is anyone listening?"

This February, the Jewish Learning Academy (JLA) will be offering an innovative course on the idea of prayer in Judaism. The interactive four-part series will address the origins of the Jewish system of prayer, the substance of those prayers, and the evolution of the Synagogue.
Key questions to be address at this series will include:

“Does G-d really need our prayers?”

“Where did it all start from?”
-
“Who made up the prayers?”
-
“Why don’t we just pray at home?”
The course, entitled “Prayer – Is anyone listening?” will be offered on four consecutive Wednesday nights (7:30--8:30pm),
begining Feb 14th, it will be held at the Chabad House of Greater Hartford – 2352 Albany Ave.
The fee for the entire course, including text and materials, is $40.
